Have a look around before you come and see us.

  • The front of the pub at dusk with its lamps lit. The name glows in gold capitals above the open door, and the windows on either side are lit from within.
  • A sharing board by the lit fire with cheese, cured meats, crackers, walnuts, blue cheese, pickled green chillies and chutney, beside a glass of red wine. Busts and curiosities line the mantel under a gilt mirror.
  • Nachos and a bowl of chilli with rice on a long wooden board by the lit fire, with bread and butter alongside. A golden retriever peers over the edge of the table at the food.
  • The fireplace by daylight: a black iron surround with red tiles and a fireguard, and logs stacked on the shelves beside it. Busts and curiosities stand on the mantel against the teal wall, and another bust sits on the hearth.
  • Two plates of nachos on a long wooden board, carried out by someone in a striped apron. They are topped with melted cheese, guacamole, sour cream, sliced radish and chives.
  • The view from the doorway under a lantern on a summer evening. People sit at picnic tables under red and blue parasols with a dog among them, and the Bath stone houses and green hills beyond glow in the low sun. A hot-air balloon floats in the blue sky.
  • The beer garden full of people of all ages on a sunny evening, at picnic tables under red and blue parasols, with a dog among them. Bath stone houses and green hills stand behind, and a hot-air balloon floats in the blue sky.
