Come as you are and settle in by the fire.

The pub

A local with a bohemian streak

The Fairfield Arms is a neighbourhood pub with a log fire and a well-kept pint. Books and board games line the shelves against the teal walls, and busts and curiosities crowd the mantelpiece. On long summer evenings the garden fills with people of all ages. Everyone is welcome whether you drop in for a quick half or stay until last orders.

Food

Home cooking from around the world

The food is home-cooked and the recipes come from all over the world. Plenty of it is made for the whole table to share.

Drinks

Real ale and Guinness

Wainwright Amber and Butcombe Original are on the hand pulls. Then there’s the Guinness. We keep every line clean and every beer fresh. Our customers speak very highly of the Guinness and of all our ales.

Murphy’s is on tap too. For cider there’s Thatchers Gold and Thatchers Dry.

Drinks on a wooden table in the sun with pink flowers behind. There’s a cocktail with lime, a jug and a tall glass full of fruit, an orange spritz and a beer.
